MEET ARENA STAGE CASTING DIRECTOR VICTOR VAZQUEZ

Actors' Center members are cordially invited to a special evening with VICTOR VAZQUEZ, who will discuss his casting process at Arena Stage, explain how he prefers to work with actors, and answer your questions about being hired at one of the country's pre-eminent (and very first) regional theaters.
Doors will open at 6:30pm. The presentation with Victor will start at 7:00pm.
You must be an AC member to attend, and members at all acting levels are welcome.
NOTE: Victor prefers to receive headshots and resumes via email, so please don't hand him a hard copy!
VICTOR VAZQUEZ serves as the Casting Director/Line Producer at Arena Stage in Washington D.C. Previous employment includes: Center Theatre Group, The Pasadena Playhouse, Cornerstone Theatre Company, and DAQRI, the world’s leading enterprise augmented reality company. Concurrently, Victor is also a part-time student in a graduate program in creative writing at the University of Oxford in the UK (2017-2019) with a focus in dramatic writing (for television). He is a PEN Center USA Emerging Voices Fellow, and a LAMBDA Literary Emerging LGBT Writer. He holds five playwright commissions with the award-winning professional theatre company 24th Street Theatre, Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival, and Los Angeles Shakespeare Center. He is a recipient of the national Hispanic Scholarship Fund McNamara Creative Arts Grant, and holds two bachelor degrees from UC Irvine’s undergraduate creative writing emphasis program and in drama (directing honors). Originally from Los Angeles, he now lives in Washington, DC.
