What is it that an actor can bring to the first audition to make it dazzle? We’ll discuss confidence, analyzing the script, setting eye and body position, accessing emotions, and whether or not to memorize the script. We’ll explore the techniques of the audition process from entering the room to the personal interview to the delivery of lines and exiting. Taught by Emmy, Peer and Telly award-winning actress Elisabeth Noone, who draws on her experience working in New York and Los Angeles, on television, film, stage and in improv.
Each participant is asked to bring typed lyrics of a favorite song to the workshop.

Her modeling took off on a national level and led to an extremely successful career both on and off camera. Elisabeth has had recurring roles on The Wire and The Bold and the Beautiful and guest-starred on shows including LA Law CI , Criminal Minds and Cold Case.
Her film credits include the lead in independent films and several co-starring and supporting roles. She's a presenter and emcee to boot, and the events she's hosted include the Horatio Alger Awards. Also, she's one of the nation's leading voice coaches. A practicing Buddhist, Elisabeth helps children throughout Tibet as the Child Welfare Coordinator for the Raktrul Foundation.
